My Wife's Dell Windows 7 Dell Isn't Cooperating

    Hi:

My wife's Dell Windows 7 will not allow her to read articles (Yahoo, etc.)
It is a 32 bit machine, which to me, is not as good as a 64, but I was
hoping to get an assist as to whether it is possible to work this bug
out of her machine. She is a writer and needs to read for research.

    Thanks,

    Carl

She uses Google Chrome, and the only error is freezing when she reads any article.

    Thanks

Please give us the specs of your wife's computer. It will help us to help you.
Did you try to use another browser, like Edge?

Depending on how much memory it has, 32 bits can be better than 64 Bits OS.

First try clearing the cache and cookies. How to Clear the Cache and Cookies in Your Web Browser | Information Technology Services

Note: This will log you out of any an all websites if you allowed the browser to save those login seasons. Something I personally wouldn't do and just use the free and open source Bitwarden password manager instead...

Run disk cleanup on all options. (%windir%\system32\cleanmgr.exe)

    Sold with DDR3 SDRAM (1066 MHz or 1333MHz) 2 slots supporting 1G, 2G or 4GB DIMMs. (1333MHz memory will run at 1066MHz)
