PC slow when waking up from sleep

    And the culprit was... my Dell power supply, which was faulty. Replacing it solved the issue. So indeed it was a hardware issue.
    How I found out would be a little long to explain, but if any Dell user has the same type of problem I can provide.

    I have the same experience. All you have to do is, whether you are returning from sleep or hibernate. Just go on ctrl alt del, open task manager. Go on users. Scroll down to windows explorer bar. Right click it and left click restart. That’s it. I don’t know why nobody says this and why no one else experiences exactly what you’re saying. Because I have the same for years. And I discovered this. I think the system lags due to remembering where it was or something like that because fresh start is never as lagging. So in my time I haven’t even lost private or Incognito tabs open when restarting explorer. Nothing gets lost. You can try it but you shouldn’t lose anything. Would have to test it on a word document but I’m not concerned. It continues the computer as if it was just fresh started without losing the data
