Using WinDirStat (a great program!), I found that the folder C:\Windows\winsxs has 122,000 items and is using 18GB of space. It seems that this should be cleaned up. So I ran Disk Cleanup, but the option ‘Windows Update Cleanup’ was not shown. What can I do to clean this up?

Thanks. Was a tad challenged...
- Option 1: Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows\Servicing does not exist in my Task Scheduler
- Option 2,3: When I ran dsim, I got: Error: 87; The startcomponentcleanup option is not recognized in this context.
- Option 4: Worked, but didn't do much. No there are 93k items using 16 GB of space...
Doesn't look like it's going to clean up much for you.
