    Event ID 100 not being tracked SP1

    I know this must have been posted somewhere, but I've searched through this forum pretty thorough and could not find anyhting relating to THIS problem - if it IS somewhere here, please feel free to flame me but tell where it is.
    It does not list ID 100, but I know there a an update that will - possibly - fix it. Searching through the web, I only found one reference to it, but - of course - M$ took it down.
    Does anyone know where it is or where I can get my grubby little fingers on it?
    Of course if you have another idea as to the problem, I'd be glad to hear it!
    The system is taking 3 minutes between welcome and desktop - started about 2 weeks ago and nothing has been added or updated (that I know of) before or after that time.

    what do you mean by "it" ?

    there is a walkthrough here:

    Use Windows 7 Event Viewer to track down issues that cause slower boot times – South Jersey Techies

    you could use dism++ to install updates you might have missed

    Release Dism++ 10.1.1002.1 . Chuyu-Team/Dism-Multi-language . GitHub

    Sorry I thought it was in the title - the event viewer.

    I might consider DISM IF I knew which one I was missing. I'd rather not install anything but what I need.

    BUT I don't know what I'm missing (no pun intended).

    It will scan your system and tell you. Click Updates in the left pane, then click scan

    It will explain what each hotfix does?

    No, it doesn't. I've 6-10 highlighted, but it doesn't tell me what they're for. AND I'd rather install JUST the one I need. The rest of the system runs dandy.
