Sfc /scannow shows errors but can't be fixed

Hi Friends,

Long story short - I had replaced my old HDD with SSD 512gb few months ago, replaced the old 2X2GB RAM sticks to 2X4GB, hoping to little more life to my first & old Dell workhorse. TBH, I felt my old stuff was faster.
As I added 8GB, had to change w7 to 64bit, the only major change.

My SSD came with 3 years warranty & I have already replaced it once, as it stopped detecting all of a sudden after just a couple of months. Got the laptop back home with SSD just few days ago, from my PC shop.

As FDM hung-up while downloading file, I had to do hard restart - normal restart wasn't happening for some reason & I couldn't even end the task of FDM (Free Download Manager). After hard reboot, tried sfc scannow - first time, it said errors found & were successfully fixed.

I ran it again, now it said - errors found but some of them couldn't be fixed. Tried rebooting & scanning again, same result again.

Attaching scan logs, is there something I am missing or is it some sort of false positive ? Any help would be appreciated.

its repairing the same driver everytime, usbhub....
IF you do not have problems with any of your usb adapters i'd not worry about it




must admit im not a fan of any download managers, if the speeds you posted in a previous thread are correct, 30 down 100+ up, and unless your running high usage games those speeds should be enough for general use


do have a look at what programs your shop installed, some of them may not be neccessary, or even still updating since you've only had it back a couple days

thanks for the response & advise appreciate it :)

The reason I am using download manager is to schedule the downloads & forget about it, I have found browsers causing issues, when downloading large files - especially if net breaks or browser crashes for any reason. DM saves in such circumstances, infact I am using an old stable version of FDM, a lite version for XP, to keep the resource usage to a minimum


As far as the usb ports go, I can see they are working okay at the moment, may be a bit slow at times, when I tried transferring files to my external HDD.
And yeah forgot to include one more thing, as I reported in one of my earlier threads about wifi issues - that wifi port seems to have gone kaput, so I am using wifi hub (usb) one to connect to the internet, in case this changes anything. I have 4 usb ports on this machine, 3 connections constantly used are:
(1) cooling pad with 2 fans, with blue light in it
(2) wired rgb gaming mouse (for colors, helps me find the mouse in the night )
(3) wifi hub

I have checked the programs, couldn't find anything odd - I have already removed few softwares which I no longer use - Chrome & KM Player or something.
They seem to have installed my Windows 7 with admin rights all along ie, I don't even need to right click Command Prompt to run as Admin, it opens by default as an Administrator.
