    powercfg.exe parameters

I want to force Windows 7 to stop throttling on my music production app (Reaper). Someone suggested a method, that worked for the same problem like mine. This command is:

    powercfg /powerthrottling disable /path "D:\REAPER\reaper.exe"

The problem is that this command line was figured out on Win 11. How does it look in Win 7? I am not sure whether you need to use "-" or / in Win 7, and I also couldn't check what the reverse command is, because if I type powercfg /?, there is so many things written I can't scroll back to read everything.

You are talking about this in Windows 11:

    powercfg /powerthrottling
Control power throttling for an application.

    Example:
    powercfg /powerthrottling disable /path "c:\myprogram\myprogram.exe"

You can see the options are by this command:
    powercfg /?

You can save this to a file. For example,
    powercfg /? > pc.txt

I checked powercfg for Windows 7 and found no equivalent command.

Thanks for checking. That parameter might be a new addition to Windows 11 then.
