My netbook, with puny specifications (1.6Ghz processor, 1 gig ram,integrated graphics) restarts in just 51 secs, and it's not a clean install, I've been using it for ages now

Abnormal boot-up time
Hi, My laptop has recently started taking much longer to startup. At the beggining of this year, it was taking around 35/45 seconds to boot to the desktop and be ready to go. Over the last couple of weeks, i have noticed it has been taking longer and longer, it now sometimes takes up to 90 seconds...

Abnormal CPU running at 90-100%
It has happened every now and then for the past week or so. I have ran a full virus scan, nothing came up and also i did not install any applications since it started doing it. I do not know what's wrong with it.
