Loading Pics taking time

Hello Folks

As you can see in the SS below , it takes a lot of time to load a folder which contains lot of images.

When I try to copy paste in that folder while loading ,explorer hangs.Please help :)

Hello Seven,

Turning off thumbnail previews should speed it right up. However, if you wanted to keep them turned on, then let it finish loading all of the thumbnails first before trying to copy and paste to see if that may help.

Here is SS when thumbnail is disabled

When I open pictures in D E Drive ( other than C Drive ) , the pics load faster.The problem is only in C Drive.

In the Control Panel under "Indexing options" You will see a "modify" option, just go in there and choose where you would like the indexing to occur

Programs not loading, or taking hours
I have a few issues going on with 7.. mainly right now several programs do not want to open randomly.. Sometimes it's Firefox, sometimes Paintshop Pro, sometimes both, etc.. sometimes they work fine. the error is "there was a problem sending the command to the program" I do NOT have zonealarm...
