    Mate, the WEI is not a system to compare PC's to one another, if that's what your after, look for 3D Mark.

    This raises an interesting question - exactly what does increase an Aero score? Apparently not the graphics card.

    It is the ability to smoothly generate aero effects, the flip through menu, the glass,hover preview, etc.
    While partially 3d they use the gpu as well.
    I am running an ati 3850 with 512 ram
    Both my gaming and graphics score are 7.4.

hello, my ( desktop Performance for windows aero) is lower in build 7057 anyone no why? on all the other builds i got 7.9. with this build i only get 5.9. i did a clean install and using the same drivers i used with the other builds . didn't change any settings anywhere. thanks scrooge
