how do you adjust hardware acceleration?

    so what was your results from running WEI, another diagnosis tool is run dxdiag by typing it into your "search programs and files" , available when you click the windows orb, post some results or screenshots when your done

    Are you both using Win7 32 bit? Does your cuz have the same chipset and installed RAM? Did you update your drivers through Windows Update when you installed or the manufacturer site? A lot of drivers have been updated since Win7 was released.

    he built my computer for me and he installed my OS for me. im hopeless when it come to computers so i rely on the help of other knowledgeable computer peoples LOL

    tests and dxdiag (i dunno where the test is in WEI im not sure if this is right but its what i can post now)

    thanks, your drivers out of date, please download and install the "ATI Catalyst™ Display Driver for Windows Vista/Windows 7 32-bit" then let us know if that fixes your problem

    that was the same link i downloaded my drivers from!
    even tho it was, i still redownloaded it, unstalled the first one and installed the newly downloaded one
    still didnt fix my problem...

    the "change settings" is greyed out as your driver doesn't enable it, everything else you have shown me proves your graphics card is performing properly :)

    the error code you show is specific to your game "maple story" I suggest search with google for "error code 2147287038" and theres numerous suggested cures mostly reinstall

    I would try maybe running in compatibility mode for vista SP1 by right clikc the shortcut and pick compatibility tab and select run as vista sp1 ?

    he said; when you go to start your game

    • right click the shortcut
    • pick compatibility tab
    • select run as vista sp1 ?
