    how do you adjust hardware acceleration?


    hi im new to windows 7, i've just installed it and it seems my hardware acceleration has been disabled and i've been to screen resolution>advanced settings>toubleshoot but it seems the hardware acceleration adjusting bar is not there like it was when i was on XP. can someone help me fix this problem please?

    yes it is, when i go to dxdiag it shows my graphics card

    because an error is happenning to me when i try to run 3d games like warcraft, and its not only that game, its all 3d games i run. and i rmb the errors were the same errors when i had my hardware acceleration off when i was using windows xp.
    can someone help me please

    Well could you tell us the errors?
    BTW are you running with Aero? Transparent window borders?

    I test my graphics card drivers using my Windows Experience Index, can you try that and give us the error if that doesn't complete ?

    lol can you explain how to test your graphics card on windows experience index? im new to windows 7 so im unfamiliar with these things (was using windows xp prior to windows7)
    hm the only game that i have left installed is maplestory and when i try to run it it shows a message
    "error code : -2147287038 (Unknown error 0x80030002)"

    server is not down btw, relevant errors popped up when i tried running other games but i have them unstalled at the moment because i got mad

    Not saying its a good test, but right click on Computer and select properties. Click at the rating button.

    Have you checked your display adapter drivers are up to date, or for that matter that your game is Win7 / Vista compatible?

    lol my drivers are up-to date, i've installed them thru the internet and it was last updated 2009 something.
    my cousin can run the same games as me and hes using windows 7. unfortunately his internet is not working atm and he doesnt know how to fix my problem either :S
