    My advice is to steer clear of reg defraggers on Windows 7 (particularly 64-bit). Ive not come across one that doesn't seem to corrupt the system.

    I agree stay away from them, they are not worth the trouble that they will cause.

    I have never changed, tried to improve, or used any device with the reg. Defraggers are hard on them reg is the life of the computer.

    Auslogics used to offer their registry defrag product for free, and if you do a Google search, you can still find the free version in a few places.

    I have used it on a couple hundred machines with no issues. I can't say that it really improves performance, but it doesn't break anything.

    On Auslogics website, they also offer, in my opinion, the best disk defragmenter around and a registry cleaner, both free.

    I'm using Win 7 Manager Tweak and Optimize your Windows 7 - Windows 7 Manager on my Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit,

    There's a feature called;

    1. Registry Cleaner
    2. Registry Defrag

    I've run both of these features upon installation, and it works fine for me til' now.

    Just sharing my experience
