    sfc /scannow ?

Some time ago while recommending One member to run sfc /scannow
    I run it myself.
it told that it found integratiy violation but couln't fix it..
    And logs in Windir\logs\CBs\cbs.log
I tried to access it but access was denied..

ok, I got access to it. (not important)

and only error I can see is:

Error CBS Failed to process single phase execution. [HRESULT = 0x800f0816 - CBS_E_DPX_JOB_STATE_SAVED]

    any ideas what it is?

Try again, it may have found another error, also, it cannot fix all at the same time.

If that does not work, do the repair install, with the windows DVD. That will probalby work.

Did you have Vista on the machine at one time? Did you also have a problem installing SP1?

Error logged but not explained via Google.

In the time it would take to research it you could have the Repair Install done.

Yeah, I had vista, but can`t remember any problems applying SP1.

I probably know cause of the problem.
Me experimenting with some programs and Windows.
    Changing settings and registry.
It maybe which Windows things integrity violation.

And SRP which may have blocked him from fixing.

Running it now on admin account

    hehe.
    Thank you.
It helped more then you thought it will.

    ok guys look: :)

The SFC.exe program writes the details of each verification operation and of each repair operation to the CBS.log file. Each SFC.exe program entry in this file has an [SR] tag. The CBS.log file is located in the %windir%\Logs\CBS folder.
My error didn't had SR tag.
So the first error I posted was probably one of error maybe related to Applocker or SRP.

    ok,[SR] error.

    I gone through tones of
    0000012f [SR] Verify complete
    00000130 [SR] Verifying 100 (0x00000064) components
00000131 [SR] Beginning Verify and Repair transaction
    and blah blah

    and found it =)

    Code:
    POQ 75 ends.

You should stick around and help others with those research skills.

Let us know if the repair install fixes it for you. It should, since it reinstalls the OS.

But as an in-place Upgrade it can sometimes import corrupted settings, although hopefully they will not be allowed to carry over into replaced OS files.

    Will run repair disk tomorrow.
