I would not do a repair...I would do a clean install...it may take a bit of time to reinstall, but its well worth it in the end... Then get a good imaging program and backup your system ...

That's to say if that will work. I want that as last resort. *sigh* im either in for one hell of a night or one hell of a morning.

I just hate the idea that i need to reformat over a browser issue.

I got a lot of these warnings.

The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention.
Reason : Graphics subsystem resources are over-utilized.
Diagnosis : A sharp degradation in Desktop Window Manager responsiveness was observed.

and

The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention.
Scenario : The Desktop Window Manager responsiveness has degraded.



It shouldn't be a hardware problem considering i don't lock up at all while gaming... only while browsing.

You can dig deeper by clicking through WEI score link at Computer>Properties to Advanced Tools to Generate A System Health Report.

Study critical and repeat errors in Event Viewer.

Update all your drivers including chipset and use the guide in my sig.
