    What is my Ram


    CCleaner says i have 4.0GB

    whilst my computer say i have 4.0GB, with 3.25gb usable,

    what does that even mean?

    It means the other 0.75 GBs of RAM is being used by the hardware.

    Also means you have 4 GB of ram and 32 bit Windows. You want to see and use all 4 GB you need to install 64 bit.

    Windows 7 32bit doesn't support 4GB Ram, only 64bit versions do.

    Oh, well i cant re install Windows 7 becasue i purhcused the Student deal, and my Older Brother who built this PC said i needed 32Bit Software.

    I had XP and Vista 32 bit so :S
    and the upgraded adviser said im capable of running 32bit OS

    Do you guy think coz im using 32bit software and OS doesnt support 4GB's that this is causing my PC to freeze after sleep?

    The freeze after sleep problem is widespread and fairly common. Lots of things can cause it.

    It might be worth looking at the power settings and make some adjustments in there which can sometimes help with this problem. Setting to "never" for the harddrives or other items can help.

    It means you have plenty of RAM to do just about anything you need to do.
