Hi,Blokestill no luck changing anything ,everything I do my PC doesn't seem to like and keeps telling me that the OC didn't work so,at this stage I am going to abort until I learn a bit more ,just as a matter of interest my score seems to be the worst I have seen on this thread, but I get a 7.1 on the WEI,which is not bad ,so I am begining to wonder should I even be concerned with such a low score from Winsat mem test?,again Thank You for your help.

Hi,Fizban,ok maybe I should have said ,"one of the lowest scores" on this thread, but I have 4gigs of DDR3 ram,so you can see why I am not a happy bunny with the scores I am getting.

My laptop (work laptop) is actually getting the lowest scores here....

    3.4 on WEI
    3046.48 MB/s (winsat mem)
    60.50 MB/s (cpu encryption)
    107.31 MB/s (cpu compression)

    Acer 6465 laptop (C2D T7200 with 2GB DDR2 667)

That's not really any lower than mine were.

    My laptop is also a C2D T7200 with 2 GB DDR 667.

    3076.46 MB/s (winsat mem)
    60.94 MB/s (cpu encryption)
    107.47 MB/s (cpu compression)

Technically all three of my scores are higher, but none be more than 1%. Though how your laptop got a 3.4 on memory seems odd to me as it looks to be mostly identical to mine unless yours for some reason isn't dual channel as mine is.

i think from what we can observe here children is that the cpu is becoming the bottleneck of this not old but not new but ddr2 laptop, this can become a significant learning curve for all you students.

how much of a percentage does yours beat mine Fizban? lol not even worth the quack-u-lation

i love to pull the wee out of myself sometimes.
