And it cost a bloody bomb too......the hoops I had to jump through......taken 3 years off my life.
Keep in mind many of the scores being compared here these days is for DDR3, for DDR2, nearly 7000MB/s isn't actually too bad! My current DDR2-800 Corsair XMS2-DHX out performs most of my friend's DDR2 setups and it only gets a bit more than 8000MB/s.
That must be one beastly server! Out of curiosity, what on earth does it need all that RAM for..?
