The HT doesn't have as much affect as the NB. Here's mine with the HT at default and the NB at 2400,

I have a crappy board and the NB and HT adjustments are kind of linked. Good score with loose timings!

Yup, usually within a couple hundred MHz, if you recall I was getting wild and wide fluctuations, like from 15,000, then 12,000, then 16,000, etc. I guess they did something to the board I RMA'd.
But I like it much better now.

Yup, it varies with CPUs Saviour. The Phenom II X6 I have has its multiplier locked at 14 but I can overclock it by raising the Front Side Bus frequency to over 4GHz. But you would have to adjust your RAM because that would overclock it too much.
I don't see the SSD in your specs?

CPU Speed, BCLK and Memory Speed: Boot failure.
Probably I am in the right section for this issue. If not, please move it. A couple of days ago I changed the motherboard and processor, but not the RAM as the RAM is apparently compatible with that board as stated in GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-B85M-D3H (rev. 1.0/1.1) ... Now, I...

What's your hard drive assessment speed?
I'm curious to see what other people are getting for their WEI disk scores. I would like to see all types and combinations of drives to see how they differ in performance. If possible try to keep HDTach/HDTune/etc. scores to a minimum as there is another thread for that. Some general questions...

Memory Assessment Speed
Just a curious question; I ran winsat mem a couple of weeks ago and got a 13600+ read. Ran it today and got 15985 read. Only system change was adding a Radeon 6670 Video card. Does memory speed change this much ? What might cause the disparity ?

Memory speed
I have 4 Gb of corsair 1600MHz C9 DDR3 memory installed on an Asus Crosshair III Formula 790FX motherboard. The motherboard specs said that it supported 1600 MHz memory, yet the memory is only running at 1333 MHz. Do I need to OC the M/board in someway to get the full speed out of the memory...
