Wouldn't that'll be shown in the Bios? I mean like, when I fail to OC my CPU, it's back to the default settings but my rams setting are still the same there.
PS: I've found this link by googl'n. I wonder if it's related

No, the Overclock stays as far as FSB and RAM timings. My default voltage for the CPU Core is 1.21, When I change it to 1.225 its only @ 1.176 and fluctuates down to 1.66 at times, so I manually turn it back to default. However if I drop my Ram timings below 5-5-5-15 it will override the Bus overclock yet keep the ram timings. Quite strange. FYI, I do have the most current version of my bios.
Not really, thats because MPCRSC562 is running an AMD system.
im not going to explain why again, but i7 systems will score higher than AMD as i7 gets average 17k-24k+mb/s, AMD systems get around 8k-17k+mb/s and intel core systems and early AMD systems (w/out a memory controller) will get anywhere from 0-10k+mb/s
if you read through this thread it will explain why there is such a huge variation between AMD and Intel new and old CPU's.
bit low for an i7 from what i have read here, but i suppose that is because of your 1333 ram. if you went to 1600 you would see a bit of a jump. Still an i7 system is always great none the less.
hang on how much ram and what ram stick configuration are you running? in your specs you state 2x4gb?? so you have x4 2gb sticks???
