    How can you tell?
By looking at the numbers :)

You can also tell whether someone has Hyper-threading (on intel iX systems) enabled or disabled)

    ie:

This was with mostly stock timings @ 4.2ghz with HT disabled:

What's your memory assessment speed?-winsat-4.2-no-ht-8-8-8-24.jpg What's your memory assessment speed?-4.2ghz-8-8-8-24.jpg

And this was with mostly stock timings @ 4.0ghz with HT enabled:

What's your memory assessment speed?-winsat-4.0-ht-8-8-8-24.jpg What's your memory assessment speed?-4.0-ht-8-8-8-24.jpg

Notice that even though there is huge difference between the HT disabled/enabled Winsat scores -

There is actually very little difference in the Read/Write/Copy/Latency scores in the Everest benchmark.

This equates to virtually no discernible difference in real world usage.

However it's still fun pushing what you've got past 'reccomended specs'

Very interesting, didn't know HT had that affect on Winsat.

No overclocking here buddy all stock speeds. I think its the Phenom memory controller doing a good job with the Corsair memory. Ian

    That's a really good RAM score, don't think I've ever seen DDR2 800 over 10k before, congrats :)

I see we have the same mobo and same ram, therefore the same BIOS!!
You can do me a step by step guide to O/C.

    Hi Chase,

That's a good score if it's DDR2, maybe not so good if it's DDR3, maybe.

With a little info we can see how your RAM is working compared to other systems with similar hardware and settings :)

    On a voluntary basis only

Someone might benefit from your specs/info, or someone might be able to give you a suggestion to improve your RAM performance.
