    I keep playing with my ram....I had 2x2gb HyperX + 2x2gb Kvalue ram =8GB

    With the results on the left in latency score 83.5 and winsat mem 47.84.37 plus few problems in gaming.

    So i removed the 2x2gb Kvalue ram and leave only my 2x2gb HyperX 5-5-515 v1.8

    Then i set my q6600 9x266 to 6x400 and my ram to 2.00D so now i have the 1:1

    I run memtest for 10 rounds overnight without errors.

    The results on the right are really better with latency score 75.3 and winsat mem 60.38.31

    I notice a general improvement in my system.

    Thanks Steve :)

    It seems that the 1:1 is very important at the end

    As is the much faster Ram running without the Value Ram. The memory controller in the CPU is also only running 2 dimms now. 8 doesn't always beat 4 :)

    Yes your right. :)

    Also the FSB : RAM 1:1 helps.

    Without the 1:1 the score is lower.

    Congrats panais, the value RAM was slowing down the other RAM and your system, good job on the tweaking.

    Guys what is your opinion about the famous FSB : DRAM 1:1?

    A! also my Q6600 is 9x266 and i set it to 6x400,(without change any voltage)is that overclocking??? Is that bad for the CPU?

    As for the 1:1, all motherboards run differently, so it depends on your system components.
    I haven't had to use an even ratio, but that doesn't mean it won't help yours.

    You are still at the stock frequency.
    9x266=2394
    6x400=2400

    Won't have any affect on your CPU.
