Glad it worked :)
That could depend on a number of factors, such as what clock speed it was run at (higher mhz yield higher 'bandwidth' scores, or the timings used etc)
Often, the difference between a benchmark score and 'actual real world speed' is largely unnoticeable, if at all in some cases.
lol, winsat mem is not particularity consistent. The best time to run it to receive close to your 'real' score, is when the system is idle.BTW: A strange phenomenon: according to "winsat mem", I gain +300 MB/s when I run the assessment while WinAmp is playing music in the background. I have tried it several times, it is always the case. If it would be the other way around, then I was not surprised... Thus, it seems that "winsat mem" is not that consistent.
ie When everything is settled down. Even then there will always be a disparity between each individual run. This disparity is lessened when the system is 'idle'.
Since RAM usage is dynamic, (it's always reading/copying something etc) you will always receive a different score.
For s's & giggles, I recently ran it straight after booting and it jumped from between 20000 MB/s to 31000 MB/s, back to 20000 MB/s back up to 30000 MB/s etc, lol
Whereas my 'real' current average is 21600 MB/s.
