"local user profile" size is reported as >73GB

I'm sure that seems excessive to everyone, it does to me. I'm not having problems, per se. I was just shocked. Should I care?
I'm using CC on a semi-regular basis. I've re-located "most" of my user folders to a separate drive from the system disk. I still let "My Documents" live on the system drive. That said, it's size is reported to be much less: 8.7GB vs 73GB.

Should I just move on here or do I have a performance sapping issue that should be addressed?

    TIA

    Hello,

Try using a drive mapping tool such as Windirstat to see where your space is going.

Download the 600k program if you're concerned.

WinDirStat - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

It will show you exactly what you have and you can decide if you need to make any changes.

That does seem excessive. Good luck

One guess Did you delete your windows.old file. That file takes up a lot of HD space.
