    Applications High Usage CPU


    Hi to all.
    I have problems with some aplications,my cpu go to 70 80 % usage,for ex with lineage 2.i open 2 box's and CPU allways stay on 78 80%.in idle is ok nothing strange.now im using windows 7 ultimate x64,befor i had xp home x86 without this issue.
    Motherboard : Asus M4A79T deluxe
    CPU: Phenom II x4 Rev C
    RAM: 8Gb OCZ3BE1600C8LV4G
    Video : Sapphire Ati Radeon 4890

    Could you please post a screenshot of your task manager the next time this occurs? Use the snipping tool, found in the start menu.

    ok im back...sory for delay(personal life problems).

    This could actually be normal. See, Windows 7 uses more resources than XP, so to begin with, you will have higher CPU usage. Second, if the game was designed with Vista in mind, it is possible it is disabling some features, resulting in the lower CPU usage on XP.

    Plus these new games can take up a lot of processing power.

    i play this game from 4 years,and allways this game was ram eater. allways dual box,even 3 or 4.now with windows 7 in idle my ram si 16 17% and with 2 box;s of this game is 24%(lol).if i open now 3 or 4 box's my cpu will stay 100%?in 2 weeks my cpu will be on fire

    You can monitor your temperatures with Speedfan, if you are concerned.
