Some of you must literally have nothing installed on those machines! I am very frustrated by how long mine is. Maybe the core i7's don't start as fast ... that that it would matter much, but I suppose its possible.

At Last! (Read all my previous complaints!!) Full install of 64 bit. 39 software programs installed. Internet and Lan established. Bluetooth etc. 62 second boot up on my slow laptop. I'm impressed.

Not to good, but I have a ton of hardware installed. It hangs up at the BIOS boot screen, not the Windows one.

I love the M1330 too. I've used one of them well over 12 hours a day, daily, for over a year now.

Check out this post of mine about "upgrading" a fresh factory installation of Vista 32-bit Home Premium with W7 7000 32-bit and then comparing with a clean install of W7 (32 and/or 64 bit).

Your feedback on Windows 7 X64 Build 7000...

Basically the upgrade is quite slow but the clean install of W7 x64 is top notch flawless and fast. When 4GB RAM stick get a little cheaper, I'm going for 2X4GB.

What type of system do you have? Sometimes you need to flush the NVRAM in the BIOS to get it back into shape.
