    Using Bootracer to clock it takes me 17 seconds to boot to the desktop. Used to be 15 seconds. The desktoips seems usable before that time though.

    I downloaded the VBS. I didn't look at it so I am trusting you all

    Now if I stopped all of those non essential services and startups I wonder what I would get.

    Here's mine, with nothing disabled or tweaked. I wonder how much faster it would be if I had an SSD :).

    Usually they will go to around +20 seconds.

    That's the speed I had with a spinner drive. It's 46 seconds with the SSD. A Guy

    Wow, those are fast boot times with an SSD. I'm looking forward to getting one in a couple of months :).

    Very nice laptop and good restart time.

    Do you notice an improvement with the 8GB mSATA SSD for caching.
