    Many startup programs were disabled using msconfig, so it restarts relatively quickly.

    My PC is Booting Faster


    All of a sudden my PC is booting very fast, about thirty seconds encluding the fifteen seconds for bios. Must have been a Windows Update, go figure, that usually bricks things.

    Then again my PC might get faster and faster till it explodes.

    for the 3rd time,

    From 64 sec to 54 by upgrading memory.
    Now to 49 sec by swittching off aero and auto log on
