I don't know how this compares to others, however, it seems to be very speedy today.

....and I was told putting 2 OCZ Revodrives in a RAID 0 configuration via an Adaptec PCI-E SATA III controller would be pointless....ha!

This system has been extensively tweaked in every possible way for extreme gaming and it takes a whopping 8.7 seconds to get to a usable desktop w/o user log-in from POST.

Getting ready to format soon so apparently I did something to screw up the bootmgr and had to use my win7 emergency boot disk, hence the funky numbers lol. Second screen is the actual reboot time more or less, I've installed various programs, messed with settings I've no clue about and other experimental/curiosity things such as mess with registry settings, I'm still amazed it's booting up at all lol currently running with IE 9 uninstalled, even. I'll get another screen after I reformat just to see what kind of difference it would make.

And this is a 3 year old Dell E6400 Latitude, with a single Intel 320 Series 80GB SSD, that hasn't really been tweaked at all

I mean, you do have me beat by 6 seconds...but then again your storage subsystem costs more than my entire machine.

    Regular boot-time (screenshot_02.png).

I also did another restart after manually closing programs in the tray which would have taken around 5 to 10 seconds to complete. The result (screenshot_07.png).

I suppose that cut a few seconds off the time. Cheers for the script! Really useful
