    just found this thread. Hate to do this to you guys . As a linux devotee while Vista ruled I am back again with Win 7.
    Thinkpad t400s, 2.53 processor, ssd drive.

    From a fresh boot useing a 1TB hdd and a strong password I booted 121 seconds. No tweeks.

    That's kinda a wide spread there. Which is it, 20, 21, 22, 23, etc?

    This is my laptop. Dell E6400, Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit, domain logon, but disconnected from Network. 7200RPM laptop hard drive with Intel P8600 CPU at 2.40Ghz.
