Edit: Oh, and for the record; my PC shuts down in about 5 or 6 seconds, and then my BIOS takes about 5 seconds before it shows anything on the screen...
Yeah, it's always hard to quantify and compare some of these numbers. I have an SSD in my desktop, and when I press the power button it takes 9 seconds before the screen comes alive and then takes another 11 seconds to blow through the POST. Then a 2-3 second delay before it says starting windows. So, it's about 23 seconds from button press to Windows even starts loading. But I'm at the logon screen in about 13 seconds due to the SSD.
Same here mate. The *real* *noticeable* perks of overclocking (NOT!)

Here is mine. Running Windows 7 Ultimate

No Photoshop. Just using a single Intel Gen 2 X-25M SSD. Firmware updated. Using msachi driver. Disabled prefetch and superfecth. Paging file enabled. No other tweaks.

    Startup items are.
    -Windows processes and services
    -Logitech SetPoint
    -Dell Control Point
    -Internet Download Manager
    -Microsoft Security Essentials
    -Microsoft OneNote Quick Launch
    -Adobe SilentLauncher and Acrotray
    -Java
    -Virtual Clone Drive
    -Alps Pointing Device
-Broadcom Biometric Stuff (Fingerprint reader, Smart Card and Contactless Card)

OCZ vertex in RAID 0 takes 29 seconds, this shows OCZ SSDs aren't very fast in real working environments although they almost match Intel's SSD in benchmarks. (Controller problem maybe)

Lol... I still like the fact that I have the speed of an AMD 6000+ (without the nice level 2 cache size unfortunately) for the price of a 5400+. To be completely honest, my PC is running better overall than my friend's 6000+ on an Asus M3N78-VM board... But aren't we all defensive of our PCs to some extent? I think it's only natural..

@fatedquest: Nice score there! And welcome to Seven Forums.
