    CPU Usage PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hey guys, I'm having a CPU usage issue. My firefox and other browsers work fine until I start playing videos. Anything from veoh or some of my favorite personal sites, the CPU Usage goes up to like 100%, and everything starts freezing on me.
What do I do to fix this?

    Welcome!

    Try uninstalling/reinstalling Adobe Flash.

Also, how long has this been going on?

In addition, take the memory diagnostic test. Just type that in search.

Can you fill in your system specs? Do you have enough resources?

Make sure the sound enhancements on your playback device are disabled. Those enhancements can eat a lot of CPU.

op:Wow, you guys are really helping me, lol, thanks.

    Specs: 320gb HD 3GB Ram HPG60

I'll do the diagnostic check tonight, thanks.

And how do I turn off the sound enhancement? Or turn it on for that matter?

And I reinstalled Adobe twice, didn't work.

For sound enhancements right click on the speaker icon next to the clock and go to "Playback Devices". Then you double click on the one that has the green default mark and click on the "enhancements" button. There you can make the settings.
