shutdown timeout?

Hy everybody
Does anybody know if win 7 allows you to change the shutdown timeout from the registry editor, like the old xp did (I succeeded to shut down xp in about 9-10 sec, but I don't know how to do the same in win7).Thank you all, best wishes.
