    shutdown timeout?


    Hy everybody
    Does anybody know if win 7 allows you to change the shutdown timeout from the registry editor, like the old xp did (I succeeded to shut down xp in about 9-10 sec, but I don't know how to do the same in win7).Thank you all, best wishes.

    Hello Bill, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Yes, you can use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to create a Shut Down shortcut with a specified time-out delay in however many seconds you want.
