Hello gbh,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

If you would like for this to just be a shorter time, type msconfig in the start menu search box/enter. On the boot tab reduce the time out (3 seconds minimum). Check the 'Make all boot settings permanent box (you can still change them) and click ok.

Hope this helps.
