Mouse Drivers Using Up Whole CPU

I've had a strange issue recently, where my mouse drivers (Logitech Setpoint and Synaptics Touchpad Enhancements) suddently started using up one entire CPU core, which of course slowed my whole system down immensely. After killing the processes in Task Manager everything went back to normal.

Is there any known problem with these drivers? I'm on Windows 7 Pro x64.

Hi Nils and welcome.
I hve not heard any issues like yours.
Now with that said have you uninstalled the software and drivers and reboot and let MS/Win7 select the drivers and see what happens?
At least this may be astart in resolving your CPU usage.
You can also make a copy of what you see in Task Manager under processes. That should show what's going on.
