No admin rights and C:\ is read-only

    Did you run the command i posted as administrator or did you click "fix it" on the MS site?

    I ran the command you posted as Admin.

    EDIT: I tried the fix-it link, and it gave the message, "This Fix-it does not apply to your system".

    Odd because it is looking for an XP directory, anyway after you restarted does the problem still exist?

    After a restart, problem still exists.

    Here is a screenshot of folder permissions for Administrators, unlike general C:\ permissions, all folder permissions have no control.

    Clearly the permissions are messed up. If running command prompt as administrator and applying the command i posted does not fix the problem the only thing i can think of is a reinstall.

    I dont know if this means anything but,after I saw the picture that you uploaded of the properties/security,I had a look at mine, and noticed that there are no ticks on anything ,except the bot one Special Permissions, and I have no problems whatsoever with any of my OPs.Here is picture,and it is the same on all my OPs.No admin rights and C:\ is read-only-capture-ss.jpg

    I'll try to install apache again. I'll see if i'm able to get the config file edited / if it will allow me to do so.

    Your not on the administrator permissions.

    Well I am leaving mine as is ,because the only prob I have is with the Smartdoctor program,and I found a work around for that ,everything else is great.
