New AMD 955 Black edition Need Advice.

Ok I just bought this processor 3.2 mhtz. I did the performance test and only got a 6.6 rating. I have read other reviews and seems everyone else is gettin 7.3-7.4 performance rating on WEI. Do I have to change something in the BIOS to read all cores or just leave it on auto. I am running w7 64 bit. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

I dont know if this is the reason but i believe your fsb speed and ram can effect your cpu score as well.

Is 6.6 your total score or your CPU score?

Is this in the Compaq in your specs, or a different computer?

Yes - I get 6.5 with a Phenom 550 in my gaming PC, 6.4 for the 2.8GHz CPU in the laptop in my sig. What motherboard? Is it AM3?
