AMD Dual Core Optimizer

I have a new 940 Phenom II processor and just wondered if I should install the dual core optimizer, from this site...

Technical Download Details

I installed it for my old PC AMD dual Core +4000 and noticed quite a improvement in Bioshock, what are your suggestions guys? Does a quad core really need it?

Vista (Hate Win 7)

AFAIR You DO NOT need it from Vista or Win 7.

On XP you had to install AMD Drivers + that App to get the most out of your CPU and some peeps got major issues in doing so (thread dedicated to it over on Extreme Forums).

Since I couldn't get specs on the AMD Turion in terms of cache, etc. (the Intel one in the title is 2M Cache, 2.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) I couldn't figure out which is the better processor. Does anyone know? Is there also a website I can reference that can compare them?
