Explorer windows constantly open in new window

    Hi guys...
I have a weird problem. Every time i want to open some folder explorer opens new window for it. For example if i want to open Program Files I'll open my computer (first window), then Local disk C: (second window), then Program Files (third window). Ok, that wouldn't be hard to fix. Just go to the folder options and select open each folder in the same window. Problem is... It is already set that way. So, select open each folder in the same window is selected and it's still doing it same, mulitple windows.
I've tried to slecet another option and return to the first one but it wouldn't work.
I've scanned my computer with ad-aware, spybot, eset, avg etc. and there are no spyware, malware, viruses just that annoying thing.
Can anyone tell me how to fix or the only way to do it is reinstall?
P.S. I hope i've put the thread in correct forum... :)
    Tnx

    Hi culle,
Duuble click My Computer > Click Organize >Folder and search options > General
In browse folders box, just check "open each folder in the same window" (as per the red box the screenshot)

    Hope it helps :)

You may have a system scan to look after if there is a system corruption.

Open an elevated command prompt (start > all programs > accessories > command prompt > rightclick & run as admin) type sfc /scannow and enter.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
    Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

    Nothing :/
