I ran sfc /scannow and 15 files neede repair (all related to Media Center and time zones(!!!)). I had to reboot to complete repair (according to sfc details.txt).
Next day I ran sfc /scannow again with exactly the same findings (pls see attached file).
Any suggestions?
Maybe back up your data and do a repair install. But are you experiencing these errors in some way or do you know of them only by running sfc?

Before you run your next SFC, please do a complete check disk to ensure that the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is a-ok. Also do a disk clean-up to clear free space and defragment your operating system drive.
The issue is corruption (acccording to your log), this can be caused by a 3rd part app (including a virus); but could also be caused by a bad HDD.
EDIT: It may also be an idea to download the testing tool from the HDD manufacturer. If the problem persists after these tests, we have pretty much (unless the issue is intermittent) ruled out the HDD as the issue.
When you run the SFC after the checkdisk, run the SFC again, then we'l know if the problem is repaired or not. If not repaired then run a repair install as Bill2 said above. However, it is vital that you run a chkdsk before the repair install, as a dodgy disk could cause the repair to fail and kill your OS.

I had a series of BSOD and Event ID 11 (Device\Ide\Ideport2) that seem to damage the file system that was recovered by repair and w7 installation disk.
Still I noticed what I posted previously.
I will follow Tim's suggestion for the time and report back.

I know these problems only through sfc (I donot use Media Center).
If I will need repair install I will ask your advise again on how to do it in order to avoid losing files, programs and settings.

That Event ID points to a loose connector. IDK what ideport 2 is for you. But make sure all your connectors are snugly fitted. One of them is probably loose.

No resolution yet but this is what I have done and found so far:
Ran checkdisk again on the OS HDD. Everything seems ok (only 231 unused index entries and corresponding security descriptors that were cleaned).
Did disk cleanup and defragment (was already in good shape because I do it weekly).
Ran memtest86+ and Windows Memory Diagnostics. Everything fine.
Ran SFC again with the same results. It again asked for a restart because some files were in use, I did it, rerun SFC, still the same. Nice eh? I wonder if SFC handles updates and patches efficiently. Besides that Media Center and Time look like working ok. (By the way, I found a bug in Media Center: if you maximise the window in your second screen you cannot take your mouse back to the primary screen). Anyhow this SFC issue looks to me irrelevant to everything else and rather an issue on its own (on my machine for some reasons or W7 related).
Tried the Western Digital tool (Lifeguard) and HDTune Pro on the drives. Tip: latest Lifeguard does not work in W7, use previous version. Lifeguard says everything is ok (SMART and tests). HDTune gives a warning for CRC error count on both drives, but not for my external WDBook and consults to check the cables. Disk surface scan is ok in HDTune also. Interesting point: HDTune gives SMART data for the external WDBook, but Lifeguard not!!
Note: I do not believe that is a HDD or a cable problem. The OS HDD is 4 months old and both cables a week old. Every time HDTune is ran gives the same raw number of CRC errors which indicates that this a tally stored in the drives, and not an online finding.
What I didnot do (and will do in the coming hours):
run a full test in Lifeguard for the sake of it (will take a couple of hours).
install Intel drivers for my chipset (I have left the default W7 ones). I have the disks defined as AHCI.
run a full antivirus scan (athough it scans all the time at idle).
The history of the problem is that I have w7 since Nov2009. Till mid Jan I got a banch of Event 11 (source Atapi, "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort2"). I put new SATA cables but still the same. Comes and goes sporadically. Since then i got also Event 11 for CdRom, Event 55 & 57 for NTfs. In the meantime, i got some BSOD's that seemed to damaged the file system which was recovered through standard repair functionality and the w7 installation disk.
I am not an expert but it seems like drivers or hardware.

Thanks for the update. Giving the passing of the HD isolation test, it looks like a repair install may be the best medicine. Along with this, grab all the motherboard drivers as well as the chipset drivers from the manufacturers website (often MS update doesn't have the latest). This should cover us for all drivers related to where we percieve the problem to be (HDD-CABLE-MOBO and their related drivers and bios functions).
After the repair install and driver update, check in and let us know how you go.
Oh... and turn off any overclocking if you have any and haven't already. :)
First of all, SFC is giving a "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation" and it is fine so at least we know that system files are intact.
Explanation: The SFCDetails.txt gets everything SFC-related out of cbs.log. But cbs.log has entries since the beginning of time. So, as I was not paying any attention to dates, I was still looking at the older results. Current results are fine.
Drives has been fully tested and or ok also. It took almost 8 hours to complete (for 1TB disk), I donot know if this normal.
All drivers are updated constantly.
Cables have been checked again and are ok. Unfortunately, I cannot find what IdePort2 is. Any advice or link would be appreciated.
There is also a new Event20, sbp2port from time to time (I just recently used Firewire for an external drive).
It seems that drivers are still an issue for W7.
And finally, I will look into cancelling overclocking (as Tim suggests) to see if it makes any difference (it is only a mild overclocking to 340FSB with all volts at auto except Vcore, never had any problems under XP).
