Windows 7 - Settings to use max RAM

Hey I've got 6GB of RAM was wondering how to set it up so it uses it all?

    Thanks.

Windows will use all the RAM it needs, unless you instruct it otherwise. There is a setting in msconfig to limit the amount of RAM, so just make sure that is not set.

    Hope this helps,

For future reference, keep in mind that 32-BIT OS's only use ~3-3.5 GB.

has anyone seen or tried this:

copy and paste below in red into an elevated cmd prompt

BCDEdit /set PAE forceenable --enable to use 4GB RAM

I have not done this so please read more about it and beware

Enabling PAE when it is already on does nothing. On new processors that have hardware DEP, PAE is on.
