    CPU usage up full

For the past few weeks I've noticed my CPU usage is up full yet when I look in task manager, the processes running seem normal. Could this be a virus?

    I have a laptop with a Intel C2D T5750 CPU.

In task manager, did you click "View processes from all users"?

Also check the "Resource amnager" button on the performance tab of the task manager and select the CPU tab and sort by CPU use there and see if something shows up.

Can you identify which process is using up your CPU?

Task Manager > Processes > Sort by "CPU"

Down load and use process explorer.

    Run a virus scan

    Download and run this

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware : Malwarebytes

Then we will know how to move forward.

I'll post screenshots of my processes tomorrow. Not sure if it's to do with the Adobe Colfusion Builder I installed last week.
