    amdkmdag error 52236 and 43029

When checking the mmc event manager every time I restart I get the error

    amdkmdag 52236 followed by 43029

the 52246 CPLIB :: General - Invalid Parameter

and 43029 DAL :: Display is not active.

Ive only the one display although because Ive got the acer aspire 7535G
it has two graphics cards. One on the main chip, ATI Radeon HD3200 and the
graphics card ATI Radeon HD4570 switchable between the two.

Can anyone help me get rid of these annoying gremlins. Thanks, Stoo.

Thanks dood. Checked my DirectX version with dxdiag and it reported that Ime using
Version 11. Im only recently come to the PC and thus am assuming that this is a later ver, but this doesnt mean that it is. Also because I`m using Win7 on an ACER Aspire
7535g with the ATI Radeon Mobility HD4570 I had a hell of a job getting that to work at all because the Microsoft Drivers arent usable and Im really loathe to do anything to mess with them as it took me 3 total reinstallations of the whole system just to get this far. Any other ideas??

HELP ME, SOMEBODY !! PLEASE :-(

I get the same error. I just installed Win 7 Ultimate 64 totally new, installed also the new downloaded driver for my Radeion HD 3200 and I see many times this error: ID 43029, "Display is not active", Source: Atikmdag

What is that? Oh sorry, I just see now that above me here is a posting with a link. Didnt saw the link before. So now I read it first

The boot sequence needs quite long, but I think it could also be because of my external HD's which are also connected through USB. I have to try to unplug them.

Hi there, I never did get a satisfactory answer, but can say that I`d only the one HD so your second isn`t the problem. Happy trails, Stoo
