    Add entry to boot?

I found a tutorial for dual booting linux but still use the windows boot loader. But the issue is that it was for xp and back then all you had to do was goto sartup and recovery and hit "edit" but now Microsoft decided they want to make things more difficult. So now i have to edit in cmd by using NCDEDIT.EXE. So how do i add this line?

Clicking Edit loads the boot.ini file into Notepad. Add a new line at the end of the file:

    C:\UBUNTU.BIN="Ubuntu Linux"

That was for xp but i can't do it that way but i do need to add that line so can I?

    Thanks for the reply,

I have seen easyBCD but the download link is down so i really don't know where i can get it

    And the other link says:

"Step 6 - Set up Windows Vista Boot Manager to boot Linux
See other post “How to use Windows Vista’s Boot Manager to boot Linux”."

I don't really see any others

i searched around for another download link for easyBCD but haven't found any

EDIT: I found it on cnet for others http://download.cnet.com/EasyBCD/300...-10556865.html

Another EDIT: EasyBCD Doesn't let me add entries directly it will let me add OS but not direct entries like back in XP is that true is there any way to do that or is this system SO different that i can't add the entry i had above?

So could somebody give me the command to boot it my boot path is C:\ubuntu.bin and thats all i need to customize
