    Wei Is Not Working!

Hi i have installed windows 7 ultimate 32 bits on a hp t220m,but when i try to enable aero it doesent works it says it needs the wei but when i try to calculate the wei i click on the link to the wei an it doesent works.

i looked arrond the hard drive for the wei files and thee winsat.exe and there are gone.

im using a vlite slimmed down version but i have installed it on another pc and it works.

im using a pro savage ddr s3 video card so i used the windows xp driver because it doesent exists for windows 7.

    thanks in advance.

What if you go to Control Panel, tehn Performance Information and Tools? Can you get there that way?

    1) You may have disabled winsat.exe.

Click Start. Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and finally Task Scheduler.
    Navigate to Microsoft\Windows\Maintenance.
make sure that the task named "WinSAT" is not disabled.

    2) If you dont see the task in scheduler, and as you said winsat.exe is missing, you may have removed it while vliting. In that case do a repair install with a regular win7 dvd. It may or may not work, given you have a vlited install.

    Repair Install

    3) For your blue screen, navigate to the folder C:\windows\minidump. Zip it and upload.
