Yeah, the numbers do not mean much for me anyhow. That laptop is blasting fast for what I am doing with it. But I had expected a bit more from the NVIDIA GeForce GT 425M GPU (1GB VRAM). Video editing is still not "instant" - LOL.
I like the idea of that "Instant Video Editing". Someone should develop that, That would be worth paying for.
There is actually one program I am using that crops videos and pastes snips together in a completely lossless fashion. That program can "publish" a 30 minute video consisting of e.g. 20 snips in a few seconds. That is because they do not reformat it. You can try it - they have a trial period. Easy Video Editor for FLV, WMV, MP4, AVI etc files The output quality is exactly like the input quality.
Thanks, I currently use Cyberlink Power Director 9 for all my HD production work on my youtube videos, but i'll have a look.

They have a little documentation that is worth reading. The main thing is to understand the "key frame" concept. Else it will not work.

    Appreciate that.
I make AMV's so I have a little knowledge of key frames, I usually do all the work manually for more personalized production, I have played around with video creation wizards and they are good for seeing what a program is capable of, but after that you just have to put it all into practice and do each section yourself. Takes forever but sometimes you create something really special.

I use this editor mainly for video tutorials that I capture from my screen where I show a lot of text pages. And those always get blurred with other editors. So the extra effort is worth it.

What sort of tutorials? My New core came today and I failed to get it working, Unsure if it's a faulty core or i'm just missing something simple. I really hoped to have it installed by now.

Well I finally managed to sort it and as I am very pleased I can proudly say "Here Is My New WEI"

Its still not an incredible score but my aim before I started was a mid 7 WEI rating. Now to put in an SSD (Will be a while yet). And then I'm Done. (May replace the Motherboard to 1 with DDR3 Memory & 2 X 16X PCIe Slots, but again a long way off). I am happy to know that I could still upgrade some components one day, This build has come in under £1000.00 so I am happy with that. Also this has been a working upgrade, I have been using the PC all the way through the build and it has not missed a day running yet.
