    @ steve-pressman, what's your 930 clocked at to get 7.7? My 950 is at 3.5gig and I got 7.6

    No offense taken. expected some comments. I don't even have an intel core, an ssd or an nvidea graphics card. My system runs nice tho.

    Looks like you are ready for an SSD.
    Yeah, but I'm drawn between an SSD and a 3D monitor, it runs fine without an SSD now it would be faster & I only need 1 big enough for my games because that's the only place I can see it benefiting, but a 3D monitor would be brilliant for games and movies. Either way there a way off after funding this new core. Never know though I might get a windfall.

    For the SSD you do not need special glasses on your nose - LOL. Btw: for games, the SSD will probably be of little interest because games typically do not read much from disk. But for the OS and the general operation, SSDs are brilliant.

    Resistance is futile - get an SSD drive, you'll be amazed by the performance boost and wonder why you didn't get one earlier :)

    Trust me; I had every excuse in the world not to get one, especially the price to gig argument. With prices dropping, this would be a good time to invest in one.
