I just upgraded my graphics card from the EVGA GTX 460 1GB SC EE to the EVGA GTX 570 HD and here's my updated scores.
you seriously need to upgrade that monitor

I also have a 46 inch Sharp LCD TV that I also use but I didn't put it in my configuration list because it is used as both tv and monitor.[/QUOTE]
If it's connected to your PC surely it counts. My 42" is the living room TV but I can still use it for gaming. XBOX 360 controllers are pretty long so instead of 2 crowding around 1 monitor 2 screens is really handy.

Good numbers Dave. Congratulations on the new SSD.
Thanks, was planning to wait and see what the G3's were going to be like. With the new 25nm issues, the initial price inflation and new hardware teething issues, should have got this 6 months ago.

Great score for the ssd Dave! Bet it flys.
Thanks you, don't know if it's my imagination but, it seems a little faster.
The flying colors boot screen doesn't have time to finish, guess I'll turn it off.

New score with new upgrades to PC (SSD, new CPU/mobo). Not overclocked the i7 yet, will do it sometime soon and push the CPU score higher.

As good as it gets for now...

This would be about as good as it gets for now. It will be interesting to see what Bulldozer has to offer.

Nice upgrades, always great fun changing the componets.
How does the new system feel compared to the old one?

Fair plays on your score. It seems that A maximum 7.9 is in reach.

You'll need a SSD to get above 5.9, even the small 40-60GB boot drives will get mid 7's.
The performance increase is very noticeable.
