It's the most noticeable performance upgrade you can do.

I have never seen anyone say they regretted it, the usual comment is 'Don't know why I didn't get one of these earlier'.

It's nice to have everything snappier. I'm impressed, yet not overly impressed. It' not incredibly faster than what I was used to. But I'm glad I did the upgrade.

Whoever came up with the criteria for WEI really knows their hardware.. in high end systems, the r/w speed and seek times of the HDD(s) almost always end up being the determining factors in overall system speed
