New drivers are tweeked for Fermi, No love for our older 295's, I went back to the old drivers as well. wanted to keep 7.9 for 2(295's) in SLI.

I hear ya, now I know and will guard against the updates. Geez, the computer is not that old either.

Oh well, thanks for the confimation KMoore!

I'll stay with my 7.6, now if could just get the processor to perform better.

I did some upgrades to my MacBook Pro over the past month or so (SSD, small 9600M GT overclock, 4GB>8GB RAM):

My previous scores were 6.3/5.9/6.4/6.4/5.9. Definitely improved!

5.9 seems to be the number for a single 7200RPM drive. If you want a SSD for other reasons, great, otherwise, don't get hung up on 5.9. A Guy

    DirtyElf,
You scores kick it and I'm sure the system has no issues. Your correct don't get stuck on the WEI score and SSD's are already coming down and soon well see 128gb Sata III's below $200 and I would jump in the water is fine!
